Man convicted after fleeing police

On July 19, 2017, a member of the Lloydminster RCMP recognized a stolen vehicle and attempted to pull it over. 
The vehicle fled from the officer who did not pursue the vehicle. 
The vehicle was located a short time later and police were able to take the driver of the vehicle into custody without incident.
Jeffery Gervais, 23 years old from Lloydminster, has been charged with two counts of Failing to stop for police, Drive while Disqualified, three counts of Possession of stolen property, Unsafe storage of ammunition, and two counts of Fail to comply.
