SATELLITE BINGO
Bingo at the Moose Lodge, 5213 - 57 St., doors open at 5 p.m. Bingo satellite, hot balls, nevadas and concession will go Mondays and Wednesdays. Must be 18 to play.
OUTREACH LUNCH
At the Legacy Centre on Tuesdays at noon. All seniors welcome to join them for lunch. Cost is $8 per person. They ask that you reserve your spot by noon the day before so they know how many to cook for. Call the Legacy office for more information or register at 780-875-4584.
PARKINSON SUPPORT GROUP

DEC. 10 — winter spectacular
The Lloydminster Cultural & Science Centre’s annual Winter Spectacular event for all ages takes place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.  Activities include horse-drawn sleigh rides, snowshoeing, making crafts, heritage demonstrations, a visit with Santa, musical entertainment, and a Gingerbread Quest.  Admission is by donation. Barbeque hot dogs with a pop or water will be available from 12 to 2 p.m. for $2.

DEC. 10—XMAS SERVICE
Waseca Heritage Christmas Service at the Little Heritage Church at 11 a.m. At the Waseca Community Centre chili/w bun lunch $2 person and Christmas bake sale at noon.

A great Christmas idea. The Legacy Centre is hosting a “Day-away” bus trip to Edmonton to the Mayfield Inn Dinner Theatre. April 11 & 12—Mental health first aid
Lloydminster Learning Council with Neil Harris is pleased to offer a two day Mental Health First Aid class from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.  Fee is $150.  Identify mental health problems and intervention strategies. MHFA covers; substance/mood/anxiety and psychotic related disorders. Crisis situations covered: Overdoses, suicidal behavior, panic attacks, reactions to traumatic events and psychotic episodes. Participants must attend all 12 hours to receive a certificate. Target audience: General public, teachers, health service providers, emergency workers, frontline workers who deal with the public, volunteers, human resource professionals, employers and community groups.
