The letter to the editor (Oct. 6 Source) by Barb Gulka could not have been better said about the mismanagement in city hall.
Looking at the Contract of Purchase and Sale of the Synergy Credit Union HUB, I note the following conditions:
Page 1: This contract this contract is made conditional upon the following:
(a) The obtainment by the buyer of approval of a mortgage on the security of the property herein purchased in the amount and rate as herein described.
(b) Schedule “A” forms part of this contract.
* Subject to building inspection satisfactory to the City of Lloydminster by Nov. 10/16 and in the event said conditions have not been performed as of the 26 day of Oct. 2016, then the deposit shall be forthwith returned to the Buyer and this contract shall be null and void.
Now if I read correctly and have the right information the 1 (a) condition cannot be met as the application for a mortgage cannot even take place until November as applications to lender can only happen quarterly?
Secondly (b), who and when is this inspection being carried out by?
Will council be given a look at and approve this monstrous purchase??
Or is administration the only ones to see and approve?
