Lloydminster celebrates the season at 2016 Harvest Festival

Lloydminster and area residents will unite in celebration of community and the fall harvest season during Harvest Festival on Sept. 24. presented by Lloydminster & District Co-op.
Harvest Festival is a free, inclusive, family-friendly event that provides residents an opportunity to revel in the beauty of fall and honour the Midwest’s rich agricultural heritage.
The festival features a wide array of daytime activities and entertainment at Bud Miller All Seasons Park.
“Harvest Festival is a great way for our entire community to unite and celebrate the harvest season,” said Mayor Rob Saunders.
“Bud Miller All Seasons Park will provide the perfect fall backdrop to an extraordinary slate of harvest-themed entertainment, treats and activities. This year’s festival definitely holds something for everyone.”
The event, which runs from 12-5 p.m., includes an assortment of free events and activities including:
• live music by The Prairie Dogs,
• a hay maze,
• a corn barbecue,
• free kid’s cooking classes, at 1 & 3 p.m.
• Chicken John’s Petting Zoo,
• hay wagon rides ,
• bouncy castles,
• a craft tent,
• a magic show,
• complimentary food provided by Lloydminster & District Co-op,
• and much more.
