Grade 4 student Mason Redl, of Winston Churchill School, got to be chief for a day, which included job shadowing the local RCMP to see what they do on a day-to-day basis. Other students who took part were Kaylee Skinner and Jackson Brown, of Barr Colony School, and Tatum Jezkowski, of St. Mary's Elementary School. Pictured are Lloydminster RCMP Insp. Suki Manj, Chief-for-a-day Mason Redl and RCMP Const. Edwin Smith. The Lloydminster Fire Department also took on some young chiefs for the day who included Victoria Campbell of Barr Colony School, Muhammad Zulkifal of Rendall Park School, Hannah Willis of College Park School and Maggie Fallscheer of Ecole St. Thomas.
