Our man Vic down, but not out

Lloydminster Source readers may have noticed our popular columnist Vic Hult did not appear in last Thursday’s paper.
No, he didn’t quit.
Nor was he fired. Again.
Turns out our man Vic was in hospital to deal with a nasty lung infection.
“He went into hospital April 1,” said Vic’s wife, Bev.
Hult would end up spending 10 days on a hospital bed before he was well enough to be sent home.
The tough-as-nails retired farmer is expected to make a full recovery, but was still unable to pen his weekly column, Vic’s Views for this edition.
No problem, his wife and most of his kids did what most tight-knit families do — almost the entire Hult clan stepped in to lend a hand.
Vic’s wife, Bev, sons Ron and Todd, and daughter Crystal Hult all took a turn filling in for their popular columnist dad.
And they gave the guy a good run for his money — maybe we’ll make them a permanent fixture!
(Just kidding, Vic.)
Get well soon, you are missed.
Turn to page 6 to see what the Hult family came up with.
