David Cey, Moody's manager, is all smiles as he invites everyone to the grand opening of Moody's Equipment new building.

We’ve finally moved!
Moody’s Equipment is now located just east of the overpass on the south side of Highway 16.
Back in fall of 2001, negotiations began between Moody’s Equipment and Agrifuture and in the spring of 2002 Moody’s Equipment had acquired Agrifuture from Vern Belsheim.
A renovation on the parts and sales building was completed for the spring of 2004.
Tom Moody managed the Lloydminster Moody’s equipment store from its onset until the end of July 2008, then moved to Saskatoon to take over as inventory manager from his father, Burke Moody, who was preparing to retire.
Dave Cey took over as the manager in August of 2008 and at this time Moody’s Equipment had four locations — Saskatoon, Perdue, Unity, and Lloydminster.
Moody’s has since expanded with locations in Kindersley, High River, Calgary and Olds.
Since 2001, the Lloydminster location has increased business, machinery, and gotten a lot bigger, to the point we outgrew our location.
In the fall of 2013 the planning started for the construction of a new building in a new location with Steel Ridge Developments contracted to put up the new building and develop the surrounding property.
They did a fantastic job with our new location despite all the trouble with the dirt work. Emile Bourassa and his crew with Steel Ridge Developments proved to be very professional in every facet of this project from making changes along the way to dealing with vandalism.
Hats off to Emile and his crew.
The building is almost double the size of our old one, and the lot is triple the size.
With the added size of the building and extra space in the lot, it makes it much easier to handle the new larger equipment.
Sprayers are coming in now at a whopping 135-ft. wide and air drills at a massive 100-ft. wide with 1300 plus bushels of capacity, so the extra room really comes in handy.
The new location is quite nice to do business out of, from the efficiency of a shop with over 5500 square feet of just door openings alone, to having everything in one building.
As we grow and expand, we realize this could not happen without the support of our customers.
Coming up on April 15 we will be having our grand opening for this new building. I would like to invite all of our past, present and future customers out for this event.
Lunch will be served and there will be factory reps in attendance, with parts promotions on all day.
Come enter your name for numerous door prizes.
We will also be giving away a New Holland Boomer 24 Compact Diesel Tractor and Loader!
For every $1000 worth of parts you purchase you will get an entry ticket, and for every $10,000 worth of whole goods you purchase or lease, you will get two entries in the draw.
This Grand Opening promises to be a very special event, featuring live music by The Prairie Dogs, refreshments and lunch, special discounts and promotions, door prizes, factory representatives in attendance, and The GOAT live on location to help commemorate the occasion.
The grand opening begins at 10 a.m. Lloydminster Mayor Rob Saunders, Glenn Dow and Darren Elder from the RM of Wilton, President & CEO of Moody’s Equipment— Kim Leland, and other guest speakers will be part of the official program starting at 12:30 PM.
Moody’s Equipment would like to encourage all members of the community to attend what should be a very fun and exciting event!
Moody’s Equipment is a certified New Holland dealer and recipient of the New Holland President’s Club Award, the highest distinction a dealer.
In addition to New Holland products, we carry a wide range of shortlines, including Bourgault, FlexiCoil, Seedmaster, MacDon, Morris, Demco Grain Carts and much more.
If you’re in need of Ag equipment, we’ve got you covered.
Moody’s would like to take this time to salute everyone in the Agriculture and Construction industries.
