Cops investigate hit and run

Lloydminster cops are investigating a case of a pedestrian hit and run where the driver allegedly purposely struck the pedestrian.
Just before 2 a.m. Tuesday, Lloydminster RCMP responded to a call from WPD Ambulance for a pedestrian who had been struck by a vehicle in the 4700 block of 42 Street.
Police learned a confrontation occurred between a pedestrian and a driver of a vehicle.
The pedestrian was then allegedly intentionally struck with the vehicle.
The vehicle fled the area, but was located by RCMP east of Lloydminster.
The pedestrian was taken to hospital with non life threatening injuries.
The investigation is ongoing and the two individuals are known to each other.
