In the early morning hours of March 20, while making patrols in one of the hot spots, Lloydminster RCMP conducted a traffic stop on an unregistered vehicle and arrested four people from Onion Lake on outstanding warrants.
Further to the investigation, a bat, masks, gloves, meth pipe, sawed off pellet gun, and a handgun style pellet gun were located inside the vehicle.
Leon Pahtayken, 33, and Twaine Naistus, 34, were charged with possession of a weapon.
Warren Littlewolfe, 25, was charged with possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, obstruction, identity fraud, and weapons possession contrary to a court order.
Kendrick Buffalo, 34,  was charged with possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, obstruction, identity fraud, driving while disqualified, weapons possession contrary to court order, and six charges under provincial statutes.
“This is a great example of pro-active policing,” said RCMP Const. Grant Kirzinger.
“The focus on patrolling hot spots as part of our crime reduction strategies continues to prove successful.”
