Attacking a Vermilion man in his own home has resulted in robbery charges against two Lloydminster thugs.
About 2:15 p.m.  Wednesday, Vermilion RCMP responded to a 911 report of a robbery that occurred just minutes before the call was made.
Police were told three men approached a man at his rural residence and offered to sell him a car.
After ascertaining the victim was alone at home, two of the punks assaulted the man, swiped his wallet and then fled the scene in a car.
Thankfully, the victim suffered only minor injuries and was able to provide cops with a decent description of the suspects and their vehicle.
It took Mounties less than an hour to find the three suspects in Lloydminster.
They were quickly arrested by members of Lloydminster RCMP, who turned the suspects over to their counterparts in Vermilion.
After a thorough investigation, police determined one of the suspects was not involved and released him without further incident.
His two pals weren’t as fortunate.
Joshawa Ricard, 20, and 29-year-old Randy Bernard, were both charged with robbery.
They were scheduled to make their first appearance before a judge yesterday.
