False 911 call led to arrests

A couple of Lloydministerians have been charged with 23 offences following the execution of an RCMP search warrant.
RCMP Const. Grant Kirzinger said cops were called to an address in the 4800 block of 47 Ave. after receiving a call for police assistance.
Kirzinger did not give details of the call, but did say while at the home, police officers obtained information which led to sufficient evidence to obtain a search warrant on the property.
RCMP were able to recover numerous items that had been stolen from different locations in the city. Kirzinger provided no further details of the items recovered.
Tyson Lumley, 26, and Rochelle Wagner, 26, are facing charges of mischief, possession of a controlled substance, possession of property obtained by crime, stealing a package sent by post, trafficking property obtained by crime, B&E; and placing a false 911 call.
“The successful conclusion of this investigation was a result of a combined effort of several sections within the Lloydminster detachment,,” said Kirzinger.
In his release, the Mountie added “great policing” and teamwork can also be attributed for the success of the bust.
“We are very pleased this investigation was able to provide us the information we needed to solve many other crimes that were already under investigation.”
The alleged Bonnie and Clyde team appeared before a justice of the peace and will appear in Saskatchewan Provincial court Jan. 18 to face the charges.
