His parting shot was a blast of pepper spray aimed at one of the patrons.
Once outside the bar, the robber got into a vehicle with another person behind the wheel.
The vehicle, which police did not describe, drove north out of Dewberry.
Police are continuing their investigation and have obtained surveillance video and photographic stills of the suspect.
The suspect has been identified as Ashley Allen Cadrain, 33.
An arrest warrant has been issued for the alleged robber-on-the-run..
Mounties are requesting assistance from the public in locating Cadrain.
Kitscoty police said they’re also very interested in learning more about the driver of the getaway vehicle.
