On Wednesday, Nov. 12, at around 10:30 p.m., the Cut Knife RCMP responded to a theft of gas complaint in Neilburg, where an undisclosed amount of gas was stolen. The victim was inside the Neilburg arena playing hockey at the time his gas card and other ID were stolen from his wallet which was inside his vehicle.

Video surveillance obtained shows the suspect described as a Caucasian male with a long, unkempt goatee, using the stolen Co-op Cardlock card. The RCMP is seeking the public’s help in identifying the unknown male. A dark-coloured pick-up with a gas slip tank was observed in the area just before this theft occurred.

The Cut Knife RCMP is reminding the public to lock their vehicles and protect their valuables as the holiday season is upon us
