The Bordertown HOG Chapter held a cycle run to benefit the SPCA back on July 5. It rained that day.

But Aug. 12 the HOGs (Harley-Davidson Ownership Group) went above and beyond, as the came up with an extra donation to the Lloydminster SPCA.

Cameron Anderson, membership director with the Bordertown HOG Chapter, was pleased to say the group is donating $500 for HOGs for Dogs.

“We decided that we would like to support them a little more,” he said.

When asked the silly question if they were having fun with the dogs, Anderson stated, “Always.”

From the SPCA’s point of view, funding and communications co-ordinator Jenny Miiller said, “We couldn’t be more excited about it, because they have already given us so much support with this event just by helping us out, getting everything prepared and of course they bring in so many bike riders.”

About the additional $500 on top of the original $6,072, Miiller said it’s “just amazing.”
