It’s hard to call this past weekend a big success for the Lakeland Rustlers women’s basketball team, but it’s also wrong to call it disappointing.
Despite a huge victory Friday night over Lethbridge – 72-46 – the Rustlers fell to the South Division-leading Mount Royal Cougars by just five points Saturday night.

It wasn’t a perfect weekend, but it was still a very impressive effort by the Lloydminster Bobcats on the road.
