Four people are in custody after a pair of armed robberies on the Onion Lake First Nation Sunday night.
At about 10:15 p.m. Onion Lake RCMP responded to a call at a convenience store on the First Nation and found that two masked men had fired shots into the store and made off with an undisclosed amount of money and goods. Twenty minutes later, masked individuals reportedly entered a second store in the community and again fired two shots before making off with money and goods.
Two males and two females were later arrested in Lloydminster that evening by Lloydminster RCMP. All four are still in custody and face weapons and robbery charges.
No was injured in either robbery.
The investigation by both RCMP detachments is ongoing.
